About this tool
Reframe a landscape recording for vertical platforms, or square it up for a feed. Drag the crop box over a frame of the video, optionally locked to 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, or 16:9, and the video is cut to that exact area and re-encoded to H.264 MP4 with the audio untouched. Expect roughly real-time processing, since cropping requires re-encoding.

Questions
Can I choose which part to keep?
Yes. Drag the box anywhere on the preview frame and resize it with the handles; the shape lock keeps the ratio while you move it.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The video is re-encoded at a high quality setting; for typical phone footage the difference is not visible.
