About this tool
Keep just the part you need: enter a start and end time and the clip is cut without uploading a byte. The default mode copies the video stream, so even a long recording trims in seconds with zero quality loss; the trade-off is that cuts land on keyframes, which can be a second or two off. Frame-accurate mode re-encodes the selection for an exact cut.
Output is MP4 whatever the input, with the audio kept. For a GIF from the trimmed part, use Video to GIF, which has its own start and length controls.

Questions
Why does the trimmed clip start slightly early?
Stream copy can only start at a keyframe. Turn on frame-accurate mode for an exact start time.
Can I cut several segments?
Trim each segment separately, then join them with a video editor; joining is planned here.
