Sounds extracted from games, Telegram voice notes, and open-source recorders come as OGG, which most audio editors and hardware samplers cannot open. This converter decodes Vorbis or Opus to standard WAV in your browser so you can edit, trim, or import the audio anywhere.
About the formats: OGG files hold Vorbis or Opus audio, open formats used by games, Linux software, and some voice recorders. Quality per megabyte is excellent, but device support outside the desktop is spotty. WAV stores uncompressed PCM audio: perfect quality, but around 10 MB per minute. It is the format audio editors, samplers, and studios expect.
Everything happens inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server: the conversion runs on your own device using WebAssembly, and the result is downloaded straight from memory. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
