Can I trim without re-encoding?
The trimmed section is encoded to MP3 at high quality; for a lossless cut, export to WAV with the MP3 to WAV tool first and trim that.
How do I make an iPhone ringtone?
Trim to under 40 seconds, convert the MP3 to M4A, and rename the extension to .m4r.
