About this tool
PNG is the right choice when a PDF page holds text, tables, or line drawings: every edge stays razor sharp with none of the blocky artifacts JPG adds around letters. Each page is rendered at the resolution you choose and saved as its own PNG.
Typical uses: dropping a page into a presentation or a wiki, making a preview image for a document, or archiving a form as a picture. For photo-heavy pages, PDF to JPG gives much smaller files.

Questions
Are the PNGs transparent?
Page backgrounds render as white, matching how the PDF looks in a viewer.
Why are the PNG files large?
PNG is lossless, so a 300 DPI page can be several megabytes. Use 150 DPI, or PDF to JPG, for smaller files.
Do password-protected PDFs work?
Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first, then use the tool.
Is there a page limit?
No. Very large documents simply take longer, since everything is processed on your device.
Is it free, are files uploaded, which browsers work: the general questions are answered once for the whole site.
