About this tool
Select a set of images in the order you want them to play and they become the frames of an animated GIF: a photo slideshow, a stop-motion sequence, a before-and-after flip, a sprite animation, or a step-by-step tutorial. Frames are ordered by the sequence you select or drop them, and each frame shows for the time you set.
Every frame is scaled to the same width so the animation does not jump around, with letterboxing, cropping, or stretching for images of different shapes. The encoder builds a color palette per frame, so photos keep their tones far better than a naive 256-color reduction.
Everything happens inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server: the conversion runs on your own device using WebAssembly, and the result is downloaded straight from memory. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.

Frequently asked questions
How do I control the order of the frames?
Files are used in the order you select them. In most file dialogs, selecting them sorted by name gives you name order; you can also drag files in one at a time.
What frame delay should I use?
For slideshows, 500-1000 ms. For smooth animation from many similar frames, 40-100 ms (10-25 frames per second).
Can I mix image formats?
Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, BMP, and still GIFs can all be combined.
Is this really free?
Yes. The site is supported by ads, and there are no limits on how many files you convert.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The converter runs entirely in your browser. Files stay on your device, which also makes it faster than upload-based converters for anything larger than a few megabytes.
Is there a file size limit?
The only limit is your device's memory. Images and audio of any normal size are fine; for video, files under about 500 MB work well on most laptops and phones.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile. Very old browsers without WebAssembly support will not work.
