About this tool
Flip an animated GIF so it plays backwards: a jump becomes a landing, a spill un-spills, a walk-out becomes a walk-in. Every frame is decoded, the order is reversed, and each frame keeps the exact delay it had, so the rhythm of the animation is unchanged.
The tool preserves the original size and looping behavior. It works with GIFs that use transparency and partial-frame updates, which trip up simpler reversers, because frames are fully composited before being re-encoded.

Questions
Does reversing reduce quality?
Frames are re-encoded with a fresh 256-color palette per frame, so any difference is negligible. File size may change slightly.
Can I make a boomerang (forward then backward) GIF?
Not yet in one step; a dedicated boomerang tool is planned.
