About this tool
Instagram resizes anything you upload to its own frames, so preparing the exact size yourself is the only way to control the crop. Pick square, portrait (4:5, the largest a post can be in the feed), landscape, or story, and get a 1080-pixel-wide JPG that Instagram will not need to touch. Fill crops to the frame; fit adds white bars so nothing is cut.
Batch mode makes a carousel in one go: drop all the photos, select the size, download the ZIP.

Questions
Why 1080 pixels wide?
Instagram stores feed images at up to 1080 pixels wide. Uploading larger only adds compression; uploading smaller gets upscaled and softens.
Fill or fit?
Fill crops the edges so the image covers the whole frame, which is right for photos. Fit keeps the whole image and pads the rest, which is right for logos and text.
Can I batch resize?
Yes. Drop several images and each is resized to the selected preset; download them one by one or as a ZIP.
Does it keep transparency?
PNG output keeps transparent areas; JPG output fills them with white. Pick the format that the platform accepts.
